The Moderation Team is here assure order and peace within the forum and clan. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please inquire a Moderator. They will be able to assist you! Ever staff member has a signature with a row of helpful links that you may find of interest, including a link to Private Message them.

3.0 Terms of Service
The moderators of this forum will try hard to edit or remove reprehensible messages as soon as possible. However, it is impossible for them to review all the messages. You thus admit that all the messages posted on this forum express the sight and opinion of their respective authors and not those of the moderators or the Webmaster (except messages posted by them) and consequently, they cannot be held responsible of the discussions.
This forum uses cookies to store information on your computer. These cookies will not contain any personal information; they are only used to improve comfort while browsing. The address e-mail is only used in order to confirm the details of your registration as your password (and also to send you back your password if you forget it).
- Aggressive or slanderous messages, as well as personal insults and critics, the coarseness and vulgarities, and more generally any message contravening the French laws are prohibited.
- Messages who promote - or evoke - illegal practices are prohibited.
- If you post informations which come from another site, look first if the site in question doesn't forbid it. Show the address of the site in question in order to respect the work of their administrators!

Any message contravening the listing above will be edited or removed without additional notice or justification within deadlines which will depend on the availability of the moderators. Any abuse will involve the cancellation of the registration. Internet is neither an anonymous space, nor a space of no-right! We reserve ourselves the possibility of informing your access provider and/or the legal authorities of any malevolent behavior. An IP address of each poster is recorded in order to help us to make you respect these conditions.
4.0 Forum Rules
The following are the Forum Rules. In order to keep this clan in order and without any drama, these rules are necessary.
1. Spamming on the chat, forum, or any service provided by OLY and/or officially used by OLY, should not be spammed. Spamming the chat with images, or meaningless text will result in a warning. The second offense is a 48 hour ban. Spamming the forum with duplicate topics will result in a 72 hour ban. Knowingly and purposely trying to destabilize the clan through spamming will result in a 90 day IP ban.
2. No advertising of any nature is allowed on the forum and related properties. Advertising includes, personal websites, competing communities, and other related services. You can, however place such material in your signature in accordance with signature rules.
3. We are a non-drama clan and the only place we should even see the word drama in when we are talking about rules. This also includes the discussion of people. Talking behind the back of a user is frowned upon.
4. Do not attempt to log into another user account. Even if you want to help a user, the user having difficulty should contact Administrators for assistance.
5. Multiple forum accounts are not allowed. If you would like to change your username, please Private Message an admin.
6. The discussion of sensitive topics such as religion will not be permitted on the chat. They will, be permitted on the forum. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
7. Discussion about anything illegal, such as selling firearms or digital piracy is prohibited, as they violate the Terms of Service.
8. The discussion of explicit sexual content, in any form, is prohibited. If you are unsure what explicit is, please send the mod team a message!
9. Any discussion that encourages hate towards but not limited to any race, nationality, age, sexuality, sex, and religious affiliation is also prohibited.
10. Please do NOT quote Youtube Players, Flash, pictures, as they do cause slow loading! Doing this will result in a reminder, and a 2nd offense a warning.
11. Please do not disrespect any members or staff. The Olympians is built on a level of respect, and any form of disrespect shalt result in either a ban or warning.
4.1 Account Safety
1. Do not provide your session ID!
When giving a link, to the forum, a thread, etc, a session ID may be in the URL. This session ID (SID) in rare circumstances give the user who clicks it control of your account. Thus, please remove the SID before posting the link!
2. Never use a public proxy!
Using a public proxy, and a user with a similar IP to yours may hijack your account. We recommend you use a VPN such as Hotspot shield, or TOR (which is available on all major systems, including Windows, Mac, and Linux)
3. Don't tell your password - to anyone!
Please, do not tell your password to anyone. Especially if you are an administrator or moderator. If you ever forget your password, click "I forgot my password". If that doesn't work, please contact contact@theolympiansclan.com
4. Public computers, web cafes, etc.
If you are using a public network, never save your password. If you are at a web cafe with your own computer, please use HotSpot Shield or TOR for additional security.
5.0 Clan Rules
In order to assure stability in any organization, rules must exist. Some clan rules may differ from forum rules, but they will generally promote the same concept.
1) One Clan Only. In accordance with rule number 2, we have established this rule to prevent drama, and to assure our clan members are able to fulfill their duties within the clan. Whether other users from other clans may or may not participate in our website is up to the moderation team.
2) No Drama. Fights about any topic, will not be tolerated. Whether it be against another member, or staff.
3) Respect, respect goes a long way, to be a member of The Olympians, you must respect both your members and leaders.
4) Do your part! As a member, you have certain responsibilities that you must meet. We go more into depth about such responsibilities in 5.2.
5) Must not be in another clan to be eligible to join us. Being in more than one clan is time consuming, though if would like to be exempt from this rule, simply note this when applying to the clan on your application.
Forum Ban & Clan Kick Policy
The warning/ban record will not be reset under any circumstance, and any past actions will not be forgiven. The following is the listed circumstances in certain scenarios and are subject to change.
As an effort to maintain transparency, administrators and moderators will post ban details on a public thread, appropriately named "Wall of Shame".
a. Spamming - Posting advertisements of some nature on our forum and/or chat.
(i) 1st Offence: Warning (Level 3).
(ii) 1st Offence: 48 hour account ban (Last Warning).
(iii) 3rd Offence: Permanent account ban.
b. Flooding - Flooding consecutive messages on our forum and/or chat. May also be considered spam.
(i) 1st Offence: Reminder is sent.
(ii) 2nd Offence: 72 hour posting ban on the forums and chat (Level 3-Last)
(iii) 3rd Offence: Permanent account ban.
c. Multiple Accounts - the creation of multiple accounts on our website, which once proven, will result in disciplinary action.
(i) 1st Offence: Deletion of duplicate account(s), reminder is sent
(iii) 2nd Offence: Warning is sent. (Level 3)
(iii) 3rd Offence: 14 day-permanent account ban (Level 4-Last)
d. Drama - To cause a public disruption within the clan, and will not be tolerated.
(i) 1st Offence: Permanent account ban.
e. Hacking/Unauthorized access - Unauthorized access into accounts, and/or gaining access through an illegal intrusion.
(i) 1st Offence: Permanent account ban.
f. Hateful content - Content that is intentionally hateful, and placed within inappropriate context.
(i) 1st Offence: A 24 hour ban on the forums and chat (Last Level)
(ii) 2nd Offence: Permanent account ban.
g. Explicit content - Content that is intentionally explicit, and placed within inappropriate context.
(i) 1st Offence: A 24 hour ban on the forums and chat, warning is sent (Level 2)
(ii) 2nd Offence: 48 hour account ban. (Level 4-Last)
(ii) 3rd Offence: Permanent account ban.
h. Targeting - Intentionally targeting the clan, and/or any specific person(s)
(i) 1st Offence: Permanent account ban.
g. Cheating (online) - Exploiting in-game to gain an unfair advantage.
(i) 1st Offence: A 36 hour account ban, warning is sent (Level 3)
(ii) 2nd Offence: 30 day account ban. (Level 5-Last)
(ii) 3rd Offence: Permanent account ban.
Automatic Ejection
If you are banned for a cumulative period of more than 72 hours, you will be kicked from the clan.
Reservation of Rights
We reserve the right to ban and kick any user from our web properties and clan, regardless of the infraction, if any. The complete Reservation of Rights can be found at 5.3.
5.1 Online Rules
1) Cheating online, is viewed as wrong and is not allowed, regardless if you're wearing the clan tag, or not.
2) Committing piracy will also, not be tolerated within the clan, as this is an illegal act. Posting anything "online" related to piracy, whether on our website, or not, will result in your immediate removal from the clan.
3) Involvement in hacking, and other illegal actives, will not be permitted, as such actions are illegal and may cause harm to the clan.
4) All clan rules apply within an online game, along with the agreed rules prior to the game, must be followed. Any infraction resulting shalt result in a warning, and possibly a ban.

5.2 Member & Staff Responsibilities

- Participate on the forums and chat
- Participate regularly at in-game events
- Promote the clan online and on forums by wearing your tag, and using a clan signature (where applicable)
- Contribute to the clan, such as making graphics, helping new users, setting an example, and if you can, apply to a higher position such as the graphics team, etc.
- Have fun!
Staff Responsibilities
- Meet title responsibilities
- Promote the clan, tell Dargor and Ares about potential candidates.
- Help host clan events, moderate the forums (if applicable)
- Attend and speak at clan meetings
- Progress the clan forward
- Report potential problems to Dargor and Ares
