General Rules
Respect other player's wishes with their respective storylines. If a player wishes to only allow so many, ask them OOC via PM (Private Message) before joining them, for example. This especially means the intentions of the thread creator.
Do not write actions for other players' characters without their express permission. This includes automatically concluding that they are hit by an attack of yours. This is Known as Power Play and will be frowned upon!
Do not make and/or give your character the ability to do anything and everything without boundaries. Things like killing or injuring other RP'er's Characters without their express permission, or being unable to be harmed. This is Known as God Modding and will be handled Strictly!
Ensure that all OOC (Out of Character) conversation is kept separate from IC (In-character) actions by enclosing it in Our OOC Tag
Example:
Keep OOC and IC interactions separate. This entails many actions including but not limited to:
-Do not use OOC knowledge if your character does not know it. Known as Meta-gaming
-Do not be offended by IC actions, people are only acting as their characters would.
-Base your actions upon your character's personality, not yours.
---This does not mean you cannot make a character that has your personality.
When basing an RP off a game(or Book, Movie, or any other media), avoid writing in-game storyline elements into your character's background. In-game, only one person could ever do a certain series of missions.
Avoid being a Mary Sue
In the roleplays, dead is dead. Reviving spells and items (or similar) brings characters back from being unconscious, on the verge of death, or immediately after death. That said, if your character's head is lopped off, or similar that immediately kills your character, you are dead. This does not mean that there is no way your character can come back, but it will take more than a simple spell.
Tolerances
Being a site with potential underage members, do not post exceedingly gory posts, those of a sexual nature, or posts containing overly strong language. Some Leniency can be given with suggestive writing without actually going over the topic, but it would be preferred that such material is done with Prior warning from the Thread Creator or with vague descriptions.
